Teatrico AZ(LAND): Power Building in the Sunbelt — Postcards from the Future 🌎🎨

On October 23, AZ(LAND), Rising Youth Theatre, SciDance, and Desierto Bordando are bringing together youth, educators, artists, community leaders, and public officials for an arts-based day of climate education, creativity, and youth leadership.

Students will explore the Phoenix Climate Action Plan and 2050 Sustainability Goals, focusing on water conservation, green-space equity, air quality, extreme heat, and environmental justice. Through storytelling, theatre, dance, writing, and collage, youth will connect their lived experiences to the policies shaping Phoenix's climate future.

📮 The day culminates with Postcards from the Future, where students will imagine a healthier, greener, and more equitable Phoenix and create messages to share their visions with Phoenix City Council representatives.
