Regional Carrillo CEO and Founder

Regional “Reggie” Carrillo is a born and raised native of Arizona. Carrillo grew up in El Mirage and Surprise Arizona. Carrillo is a graduate of Grand Canyon University and Arizona State University. He holds a Master’s in Education (M.Ed) from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Health (B.A) from Arizona State University. He hopes to pursue his Ph.D in the near future in Innovation in Global Development from the School for the Future of Innovation in Society. Mr. Carrillo is also an alumni of the Valley Leadership Institute as well as the Hispanic Leadership Institute.

His passions and commitment to supporting his communities lay at the intersection of education, technology and environmental sustainability. Elected in 2020, Reggie Carrillo serves the Phoenix Elementary district as a current Governing School Board Member. He is a certified K-8th grade Arizona educator and currently also works to expand access to equitable computer science opportunities and skill building in his role as the Microsoft Philanthropies TEALS Regional Program Manager. He is the Founder of AZ(LAND) where he works to develop sustainable green community infrastructure that centers the continued resilience of historically excluded communities through the ‘Barrio Innovation Approach.’
