Future Building

Our Future visioning is an integral component of the Barrio Innovation approach as it enables youth and community members to imagine desirable futures and the pathways needed to bring about transformative change in their communities. Our our team aims to continue using storytelling, digital art, and sense-based climate education through our ‘(eARTh)' project to paint futures of historically overburdened communities in Phoenix. These workshop aid our process in co-creating future narratives alongside Phoenix residents.

Future Building is focused on supporting the design and development of ‘Resilient and Sustainable Communities.’ Through this project, our efforts support local projects enhancing cool corridors, native desert tree and plant canopy coverage, food sovereignty, pollution mitigation, walkability, water conservation, air quality and much more.
