AZ(LAND) provides education both inside and outside the classroom.

Through our ‘Barrio Innovation Community Academy’ We organize and participate in community events, engaging attendees and gathering community perspectives on local initiatives. As we embed ourselves in local community events our educational activities cover local history, centering native desert ecological solutions, and inequities.

We use tactile, arts-based methods to engage community attendees that invite people of all ages and backgrounds to participate. This work intentionally engages with familiar and accessible spaces as we work to facilitate just transformations in our communities.
